Tag Heuer and Fossil on Twitter



  •  From the tweets posted by Tag Heuer, it looks like nearly half of their tweets are related to some sort of sports activities mainly soccer, and they engage people towards their brand through these activities. Whereas, Fossil appears to have their tweets similar to their Facebook page, keeping all the tweets related to what’s going on in the market with their diversified products.
  • Tag Heuer is having more than 316k followers with 3,496 likes and a total of 8,413 posts, whereas Fossil seems to be more active on tweeter with 107k tweets and 74.6k followers and 538 likes.
  • The words commonly used by Tag Heuer on their tweets are sensational, classic, and fossil use FossilQ, Valentines Day.
  • The 50/50 rule on both of the brands seem to be unsound to them because most of their product are either related to their product or some sort of message to people featuring their product.
  • The average number of likes of tweets posted by Tag Heuer is between 25 to 150 likes, 15 to 40 comments and very low shares varying between 3 to 10 shares.
  • The most successful Tweet by Tag Heuer was about a sensational look watch with 171 likes, 37 comments. The colors in the image and the look of the watch make the people attractive towards the watch.
  • Fossil’s tweet that got little bit of attention from the users of twitter was on their new hybrid smartwatch for the Valentines Day for a girl to gift her guy on the special occasion. And the response was not so high with 32 tweets, 9 comments and 2 shares.
